Our Philosophy

At Mere Saathi, our objective is to cultivate a warm, respect-driven, and supportive environment where everyone can speak and be heard. These Community Guidelines are built to ensure every user feels safe and comfortable during voice connections and audio room sessions.

1. Respect, Inclusion, & Kindness

Treat other members with the same respect you'd expect. We have a zero-tolerance policy against:

• Hate Speech: Bullying, attacking, or demeaning individuals based on race, religion, gender, age, disability, or nationality.
• Harassment & Stalking: Spreading rumors, threatening other users, or contacting them excessively after they have asked you to stop.
• Mocking & Trolling: Joining audio rooms simply to disrupt, mock, or provoke hosts and speakers.

2. Audio Room Ethics

Audio rooms are shared communities. To keep them healthy:

• Stay on Topic: Keep discussions aligned with the room title/category.
• Share the Stage: Let other speakers share their thoughts. Avoid dominating the mic for excessive periods.
• No Inappropriate Noises: Keep your microphone muted when you are not speaking. Avoid screaming, playing loud music, or creating static.

3. No Solicitation or Commercial Spans

Mere Saathi is a place for social connection, not financial transactions.

• Do not advertise business links, apps, or services without official creator program clearance.
• Do not request money, donations, loans, or virtual gifts in an aggressive or manipulative manner.
• Reporting scams or solicitation will result in an immediate lifetime device ban.

4. Moderation & Enforcement

Our team uses a combination of automatic speech detection models and active community moderators to enforce these guidelines. If you violate our code, we may take the following actions:

• Temporary mic mute in active rooms.
• Temporary account suspension (1 to 7 days).
• Permanent account termination and hardware device ban.
